A day at the Bank

Funny thing about customer service is that we take it for granted and only notice it when its lacking. Cancelled my credit card last week and was told to collect the confirmation letter today, after 7 working days. Went to the banks' fabulous HQ and was told to wait for the customer service lady as she will come back in 15 minutes. Waited and nothing happended and only after inquiring was told that she has left for the day (10am!) and to take a ticket and wait my turn. Twenty minutes later, got my chance and the nice gentlemen apologized for his colleague not being there saying "maybe she went to the hospital".
Finally got my all important letter but its addressed to someone else - a bank!. As changing the letter would require waiting for some more time, just took the letter (mistakes and all) and simply left.
I cancelled my card due to the poor service and this exprience only reinforced my opinion.
